Foundation myclimate is Restructuring – Changes to Management

When you’re facing strong headwinds, you need to change course to bring the ship back to calmer waters. At myclimate, we are facing headwinds of our own with some of our services and solutions – think of the EU’s “Omnibus” exemption package, for example. That’s why, after intensive discussions with the entire myclimate team, our Foundation Board has decided to change course within the team and management.

In making these internal changes, we were guided by the principle of maintaining successful and effective approaches without ignoring new opportunities. In future, the foundation will operate with a centralised structure while retaining locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, along with their experts. We are making personnel changes to our management, although we retain our belief in the collaborative model, which we will continue to pursue. We are recalibrating the focus of our work and, of course, we remain committed to effective climate protection and aligned with the needs of our customers, partners and friends.

In short, we are steaming ahead while also offering you consistency and continuity in the future.

For myself, I’m delighted that I can help shape this new phase for our great team and myclimate as a whole, with its history reaching back more than 20 years. I am convinced that, together with you, we can enable even more effective climate protection with high standards of quality, integrity and attractiveness.
