EmpCo webinar, education report and Climate Week – Exciting spring news
Hello ,
The greatest impact of climate education comes through cooperation. The Education Report Switzerland 2025 “Connected. Impactful. Together.” is an impressive indication of what we have managed through the power of collaboration over the past year. In schools, neighbourhoods and vocational training, we succeeded in empowering young people to consider and use their scope for action available to them to make a valuable contribution to the net zero target.
We achieved a lot. Our educational programmes reached children, young people and apprentices at different levels of education, from elementary school to vocational training. There is much more to climate education than just sharing knowledge. It boosts skills, promotes self-efficacy and creates spaces in which sustainability and climate protection become experiential and tangible. Projects such as the “Zukunftswerkstatt” (Future Workshop) and “Skills for Future” illustrate why partnerships with schools, regions, organisations and funding partners are key to achieving net zero.
And we have brought that same energy to 2026. I’m particularly excited about the start of “zukunftsschlau” (future smart), our new educational programme for grades 3–9. This project empowers children and young people early on, explains contexts and encourages them to take an active part in shaping their future.
Take a look at the Education Report Switzerland 2025 (in German) and discover the impact of climate education.

P.S.: Climate protection also depends on social interaction. At Climate Week Zurich this week, committed stakeholders are coming together to share ideas, perspectives and solutions for the path to net zero. An inspiring event for anyone who wants to be a part of the transformation. Come and say hi.

Not all emissions can be avoided. Do you know how many climate-harming CO₂ emissions arise when flying, driving, living, working and partying? |

Make life Difficult for the Idlers, not for Those who are Committed!
Companies that want to invest in climate protection need one thing above all else today: a strong legal department. Doing nothing is easier, legally safer and more convenient. That is absurd. And dangerous from a climate policy perspective. To make even a modest start on achieving our climate targets, we need a significant reduction in emissions and a massive expansion of climate protection projects. It is time we gave our supporters our full backing!

Sustainable health care at ADK
ADK GmbH für Gesundheit und Soziales is the municipal service provider of the Alb-Donau-Kreis in south-western Germany, with responsibility for regional medical and nursing care. Although the European Parliament’s recent decisions mean that ADK is no longer subject to CSRD reporting, it voluntarily reports according to the VSME standard and works with myclimate to implement impactful, measurable climate protection.

Sustainable hotels and tourism – how net zero points the way in real life
How do we finance effective climate protection measures without overburdening businesses? Net zero is becoming a strategic compass for hotels – from carbon footprints and regulatory requirements to guest engagement. The major event centre Kursaal Bern demonstrates how companies can implement practical, credible, cost-effective climate protection, with the help of myclimate “Cause We Care”.
