2024 was a challenging year for many, including myclimate. But thanks to your support, we have been able to achieve astonishing things when it comes to climate protection. Despite all the turbulence, we are proud of our achievements in our three core areas, which underscore our holistic approach to climate protection.
Through our education projects, for instance, we raised awareness among thousands of people, training them and empowering them to take action for the climate, particularly in their careers. Thanks to our advisory services, numerous companies have received tangible support on their path to net zero. We have also further expanded our project portfolio in terms of both quantity and quality – from Switzerland to India.
Despite uncertainties and even “climate fatigue”, the pursuit of future viability remains our guiding light. This is precisely the time to take a broader view and put familiar terms into context. Climate protection means shaping a future worth living.
With this commitment, we are ready to support you even more effectively on your net-zero journey – with expanded expertise, new digital tools, and tailored solutions.

For the past two years, our project managers Chiara Tormen, Laurin Fenchel, and Dominic Meier have passionately developed the myclimate EcoCloud carbon management platform. Creating a competitive advantage through sustainability |
Dr. Katharina Reuter, Managing Director of the German Association for Sustainable Business, made a key point during a myclimate Cloud Talk in mid-2024: even companies not currently required to report should become familiar with standardised sustainability data. This information is increasingly essential for insurance companies, credit institutions, and B2B partnerships with large corporations. Standards such as VSME (Voluntary Sustainability Management and Evaluation), ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards), and GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) provide a solid framework and strengthen the competitive advantage of companies in Switzerland and the EU.

Our agroforestry programmes aim to provide farmers with the expertise and personalised advice they need to adapt to climate change and secure their future. This year, we have once again collaborated with Silvo Cultura to support numerous new farms through our mentoring programme, including Manuel Morgenegg from Schaffhausen. Agroforestry systems reduce CO₂ emissions and create valuable habitats for a variety of animal species.

Education: the key to net zero |
For myclimate Switzerland, 2024 was a year of innovation and advancement in climate education. We improved our educational services, made their impact measurable, and documented them in our first myclimate Education Report Switzerland 2024. Additionally, we revised our innovation processes to develop even more effective programmes.
Once again, we inspired many individuals to deepen their climate protection skills and motivated them to take action – both at school and in the workplace – to make a meaningful contribution to climate protection.

In 2024, myclimate actively campaigned in Bern, Berlin, and Brussels for clear and credible regulations governing climate protection projects.
